On-loan Asante Kotoko forward, Abdul Fatawu Safiu opened his goals account for Trelleborgs FF as they beat Västerås SK on Sunday.
Trelleborgs won 2-1 on Sunday at their favourite Vångavallen home grounds.
It was the Ghana international’s second league game in the Swedish second-tier league since joining on an initial 4-month loan.
Safiu cushioned Trelleborgs’ lead in the 44th minute after Mattias Hakansson had given the hosts an 11th minute lead.
Brian Span scored the consolation for the visitors on 83 minutes.
Fatawu Safiu was however substituted during time added on.
Despite the win, Trelleborgs FF remain 11th position on the 2019 Supprettan log.
