Didi Arnaud becomes 10th Kotoko signing

Asante Kotoko have added Ivorian Didi Alexis Arnaud as their latest signing on a three-year contract.

The 20-year-old Ivorian is a defensive midfielder who last played for former Togolese champions AS Togo-Port.

Arnaud becomes the club’s 10th summer signing ahead of the 2019/20 Caf Champions League campaign. The other new arrivals include Justice Blay, Kwame Baah, Matthew Kelvin Andoh, Ampem Dacosta, Moussa Bidodane Ouattara Adingra, Godfred Asiamah, Bright Enchil, Richard Arthur and George Abege.

He has experience in Africa having featured for AS Togo-Port up to the group stage of the 2018 Caf Champions League.

Arnaud, it is understood, is one of three players expressly recommended by new coach Kjetil Zacharriasen.

Asante Kotoko are also preparing to confirm the arrivals of two more players – Burkinabe Nandji Zoumana Traore and Mali’s Mamadou Kouyate. Both players were included in the club’s 27-man squad for the 2019/20 Caf Champions League even before they headed for Ghana.
