Ghana midfielder Clifford Aboagye enjoyed a winning debut with loan club Gallos de Querétaro FC in the Mexican top-tier on Sunday.
Aboagye produced a lively display as Querétaro FC defeated Toluca 2-0 away at the Estadio Nemesio Díez (Toluca de Lerdo) in a 2019/20 Liga MX Apertura opener.
He dictated his Querétaro’s play from his favorite midfield position until he got substituted in the second half for Fabian Castillo who broke the deadlock in the 65th minute.
Alonso Escoboza then sealed the victory seven minutes after.
Clifford Aboagye will spend the entire 2019/20 season with Mexican side Gallos de Querétaro FC after completing a season-long loan move from Atlas FC last week.
