Tony Lokko given two-month probation on Berekum Chelsea return

Berekum Chelsea have re-engaged Anthony Lokko as head coach of the side for the remaining matches of the Normalization Special Cup.

The hierarchy of the Blues asked inexperienced Rashford Cudjoe to concentrate on the youth side following poor run of results after four games in the competition.

Club sources tell Footy-Ghana.com that Lokko is on probation until the end of the stop-gap tournament.

Lokko, who is having his second stint with the Berekum-based club, watched the side from the stands in a slim 1-0 defeat to Eleven Wonders at Nkoranza Children’s Park last weekend.

He would be hoping to secure his outfit’s first when he leads the side against visiting AshantiGold at the Golden City Park Sunday afternoon.

Berekum Chelsea are winless after playing four games with one outstanding fixture against Medeama SC.

The experienced gaffer resigned from the side in 2014, citing poor working conditions. He has previously coached Heart of Lions, Amidaus Professionals, Tema Youth and King Faisal.

The ongoing Ghana FA Normalization Special Cup is scheduled to end June 30.
