Kotoko confirm Keita Naby signing on three-year deal

Asante Kotoko have signed Guinean import Keita Naby Laye on a three-year contract, the club announced Monday.

The lanky attacker joins on a bossman after successfully undergoing trials with the Porcupine Warriors over the past weeks.

Keita enjoyed a remarkable audition when he came on as a substitute in a friendly with the Ghana national team in front of a near full-house at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium early October.

He further impressed in subsequent friendlies and at training, prompting the recommendation of his signing by head coach C.K Akonnor.

The former FC Renaissance Club De Conakry player passed a mandatory medical last week before signing his contract papers for the next three years at the club’s secretariat.

Keita Naby becomes the first signing of new coach Akonnor and is expected to play a huge role in Kotoko’s campaign in the 2018/19 Caf Confederation Cup scheduled to begin late November.
