Aduana Stars midfielder Emmanuel Boateng is on the verge of signing for Israeli giants Hapoel Tel Aviv, Footy-Ghana.com can reveal.
The 21-year-old – who only joined the Ghanaian champions in a free agent move from WAFA SC in January – arrived in Tel Aviv Tuesday morning.
Boateng will undergo an observation exercise by the Hapoel technical team for the next few days with a permanent contract expected to be sealed early next week.
Hapoel, Footy-Ghana.com also understands, had agreed to take Boateng on an initial loan with a permanent option at the end of the season but reviewed their decision, opting for a straight deal after a brief assessment this week.
Emmanuel Boateng was a key figure in Aduana’s just ended Africa campaign. The attacking midfielder also plays as a second striker.
