Winful Cobbinah signs for KF Tirina

Hearts of Oak midfielder Winful Cobbinah has joined Albanian side KF Tirina on a three-year deal.

A club statement has been released, expressing gratitude to the 26-year-old attacker and wishing him well in his new adventure with the 1920-founded club.

Cobbinah has been an influential part of the Phobian fraternity and was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the 2017 MTN FA Cup despite losing the final to arch rivals Asante Kotoko. He was a key member of Ghana’s local squad that clinched the 2017 Wafu Zone B Championship.

His new club, KF Tirina will offer him a new experience and a trophy cabinet might be required soon in his home. The Bardheblute are 24-time Albanian Superliga winners and have also won the Albanian Cup on 11 occasions.

The capital city club has scooped 51 domestic titles and are returning to the Albanian top-flight after gaining promotion from the 2017/18 First Division league – they spent only one season in relegation.
