He took over the coaching reins of Wa All Stars from matchday 5 but Sarfo Castro has left the job after just seven games.
The one-time Ghana Premier League winners were greeted Monday by a resignation letter from the gaffer less than 24 hours after drawing 1-1 against WAFA SC on matchday 12 of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League.
Confirming his exit to Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, Coach Castro maintained his decision is in the best interest of the Northern Blues.
“I’m not leaving because of pressure but because things are not going as expected.
“I believe my decision is in the best interest of the club,” he said.
In his seven games at the helm of affairs, Coach Sarfo Castro recorded three points – accumulated from drawn games and suffered four defeats.
Wa All Stars will now be on the lookout for their third coach this season. They initially dispensed with the services of coach Alhaji Mumuni Sokpari after three matchdays before appointing Sarfo Castro who drew in his first game vs Elmina Sharks.
