Hearts PRO Opare Addo closemouthed on Sowah rumours

Hearts of Oak spokesperson Kwame Opare Addo is staying tight-lipped on his outfit’s alleged Ernest Sowah interest.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper mutually terminated his contract with Asante Kotoko and has availed himself for any  club. Local media reports stressed that the Phobians have a deal with the agile shot-stopper.

However, the club’s Communications Director declined to confirm or deny the report.

“We’ve heard the reports being circulated in the media but I don’t know if anything about his future with us has been decided as at now,” Opare told Goal.

“We’ve released one of our goalkeepers so obviously, several other players will be linked to replace him but we will announce who the fortunate one is very soon.”

“He is a very good goalkeeper and everyone in this country is aware of his talent since he was previously with the Black Stars. We want quality goalkeeper and the supporters will be happy who finally joins us before the second round of the season starts,” he added.

Hearts’ goalkeeping problems have been evident as they have conceded 14 goals in this season’s Ghana Premier League. Securing the experienced Sowah will be a marquee signing for the Rainbow boys.
