Asante Kotoko signed and successfully registered goalkeeper Osei Kwame on 2017/18 Ghana Premier League first transfer window deadline day, Footy-Ghana.com can confirm.
The surprise late signing shores up the numbers at the club’s goalkeeping department to four – with Felix Annan, youngster Ibrahim Danlad and Michael Abu completing the count.
Footy-Ghana understands Osei penned a two-year contract as a free agent.
The 23-year-old left Inter Allies few months ago after fully recovering from a knee surgery which kept him out of the entire 2016/17 season.
From their Division one days, Osei Kwame spent almost 8 years at Inter Allies and was the longest-serving player at the club.
Osei Kwame bagged 20 clean sheets in 46 games for Inter Allies during the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons, according to stats available to Footy-Ghana.
