Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Frank Elliot Nuttall has been suspended for “unsporting and unethical behaviours,” the club has announced.

A Hearts of Oak statement reads that coach Nuttall has “admitted to these behaviours that the Board considers detrimental to the interests of the Club.”

“A three-man committee of board members – Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe (Chairman), Mrs. Ivy Heward-Mills and Mr. Frank Nwokolo Nelson – has been constituted to investigate all issues relating to this matter, and report its findings to the board by Friday, February 16, 2018.”

Assistant coach Henry Lamptey Wellington takes interim charge of the team’s preparations for the delayed 2017/18 season.
