Ghalca G8: Polack not losing sleep over Dreams FC defeat

Asante Kotoko suffered an upset by Dreams FC in the Ghalca G8 Tournament on Wednesday but head coach Steven Polack says he won’t be losing sleep over the defeat.

The Porcupine Warriors were beaten 1-0 by the newly promoted side to the Ghana Premier League via Richard Addae’s superb strike on the stroke of half-time.

Speaking after the loss, Polack insisted the competition is used to sharpen the rough edges of teams before the start of the season.

‘It’s a pre-season game where you assess your players. It’s a tournament I would like to win but I’m not necessarily going to lose any sleep over it if I don’t win the Cup,’ Polack stated.

The MTN FA Cup champions will play Premier League champions Aduana Stars in a must-win game on Sunday in the last round of group matches.
