Ghana defender Daniel Opare has shot down reports from the British media linking him with a move away from German side FC Augsburg.
The 27-year-old right-back currently has a contract until the end of the season, but would be willing to extend his stay with the Bundesliga club beyond next summer.
Opare, who has been linked to a number of English clubs in the January transfer window, told Kicker: “These are just rumours.”
“My advisor and my big brother are taking care of these things, they are in good conversations with Augsburg.
“I’m ready to extend my contract and I’d be glad to be able to play here for several more years,” he affirmed.
Premier League clubs, including Stoke City, Swansea, Leicester and Everton, are all reported to be interested in the services of the Black Stars defender who could be available for as little as £2.5m.
Daniel Opare has been with FC Augsburg since summer 2015.
