Bright Ejike: Former Nigeria U-20 star pops up at Kotoko

Former Nigeria Under-20 striker, Bright Ejike has joined Asante Kotoko’s pre-season camp in search for a contract with the Ghanaian giants.

Ejike, who is blessed with quick feet, trained with this potential teammates at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium Tuesday afternoon, Footy-Ghana.com can reveal.

The 2011 Fifa U-20 World Cup star with the Flying Eagles arrives as a free agent.

With 15 goals, Ejike, then playing for Heartland FC, was the second highest scorer during the 2015/16 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.

Footy-Ghana.com can confirm that the 24-year-old mutually terminated his contract with the Naze Millionaires following their failure to fulfill their financial obligations towards him.

Bright Ejike briefly joined Remo Stars in the NPFL in May 2017.

Footy-Ghana understands that Kotoko coach Steven Polack could include him in his list for the Ghalca G-8 Tournament which begins this weekend.
