Ghana defender Daniel Amartey could team up with countryman Albert Adomah at English Championship side Aston Villa by the end of the January transfer window.
Several reports in the English media, Wednesday, claim the Villans are hoping to lure away Amartey and another teammate who have found themselves down the pecking order at Premier League side Leicester City
According to the reports, Aston Villa could make a loan move for the versatile Black Stars player with an option of permanent deal in the summer.
Amartey, 21, who can play in central midfield or at right-back, was signed by Claudio Ranieri from Copenhagen in January 2015 for about £5 million.
He has never really nailed down a starting place at Leicester, however, having made just two starts in the league during 2017/18.
Aston Villa are making a real push for promotion back to the top flight this season and currently find themselves in fifth place.
