Asante Kotoko coach Steven Polack is back in town to begin pre-season with the team.
The MTN FA Cup winning gaffer is already in Kumasi after returning from holidays in the UK Saturday night.
Polack, who initially enjoyed a half-season spell with Kotoko, was given a new one-year deal by the Porcupine Warriors in November.
He is scheduled to join the rest of the team at their Adako-Jachie training field on Monday as preparations for the 2017/18 season intensifies.
Polack is also expected to lead the charge in Kotoko’s recruitment exercise for the upcoming domestic and continental campaigns.
Already a couple of departures have been confirmed with long-serving goalkeeper Isaac Amoako’s stint with Kotoko ending after 11 years. Defender Atta Kusi will also not be part of the squad for the new season.
