REVEALED: Godfred Saka offers himself to Kotoko

Free agent Godfred Saka has offered himself to Asante Kotoko.

The right-back, whose contract with Aduana Stars expired in November, recently returned from an unsuccessful trials with Nigerian side Enyimba FC.

Saka has already declared he has no intentions of renewing his contract with the Ghanaian champions after an eight-year spell.

Reliable Footy-Ghana.com sources reveal the 29-year-old set piece expert established contacts with the Kotoko management over the weekend to express his interest in joining the club.

It is however unknown if officials of the Porcupine Warriors are considering the idea of capitalizing on the situation to secure Saka who has been a long-sought-for target this transfer window.

Asante Kotoko are already well stocked in the right-back position with captain Amos Frimpong and Augustine Sefa.
