No issues within Hearts technical team – Opare Addo

Public Relation Officer (PRO) for Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo insists head coach Frank Nuttall is coordinating well with the rest of the technical team.

According to him, talks of confusion, miscommunication and boycotting of training over delayed salaries and bonuses are baseless and unfounded.

On record, only four first-team players have reported for training since pre-season began on Monday.

Assistant Coach Henry Wellington in an interview with an Accra-based radio station also firmly stated that, Nuttall left no training program or report behind but has directed him to start training only if the club pays their outstanding salaries.

“There are no issues,” Opare categorically told Kumasi-based Fox FM.

“Whatever program the team is going through, Nuttall together with Wellington and the rest of the technical team have been coordinating each and every time.

“They drew the plan together and it’s the work of the rest of the technical team. Together they strategized for it because they believe that the game we [Hearts] have ahead [against Kotoko], this is the kind of training we have to go through,” he added.

Nuttall is yet to return from his overstayed holidays to prepare the team ahead of their return encounter against Kotoko on December 24.
