Fit-again Ghana defender Andy Yiadom is attracting interest from the Premier League’s West Bromwich Albion, according to a report by The Mirror.
West Brom boss Tony Pulis is interested in signing the right-back from championship side Barnsley.
Yiadom, rated £2.5m, has caught the eye of Albion and now the head coach wants to add him to the defensive ranks to compete with Allan Nyom and Craig Dawson at right-back.
According to the report, Albion technical director Nicky Hammond was watching the 25-year-old in action on Tuesday when Barnsley beat Burton 4-2.
Andy Yiadom’s contract at Oakwell runs out in the summer and he has recently rejected a new deal.
He joined the Tykes from Barnet on a free transfer in 2016.
Albion will face competition from Swansea and Huddersfield, the latter saw a deal for the defender fall through in the summer.
