Medeama’s Kwasi Donsu open to Hearts move

Medeama SC midfielder Kwasi Donsu has revealed interest in donning the Rainbow colours next season.

The dead-ball specialist claims Accra Hearts of Oak have enquired about his availability.

Donsu has spent three seasons at Medeama who bought him after an impressive Ghana Premier League debut at Berekum Arsenals.

During the 2015/16 season, he formed a strong midfield partnership with Malik Akowuah who switched to Hearts after that campaign.

Kwasi Donsu scored from free-kicks for fun. He however grossly underwhelmed this past season, scoring just once in over 20 appearances.

Despite his disappointing numbers, Donsu could reunite with his former partner Akowuah for the upcoming 2017/18 season after Hearts contacted Medeama for his services.

“I don’t see myself at Medeama for the coming season. I hope for a good move to another club either home or abroad.

“Already, I have been informed by my CEO of an inquiry from Hearts of Oak. Joining them would not be a bad idea once terms are agreed upon,” Donsu said in an interview.

Kwasi Donsu is not the only Medeama player currently being courted by Hearts of Oak. They are also interested in goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi.
