Tanzanian giants Azam FC have secured the services of striker Bernard Arthur from Liberty Professionals.
He has been secured as a direct replacement for compatriot Yahaya Mohammed whose contract was mutually terminated only a few weeks ago.
Azam FC’s Chief Executive Officer Abdul Mohammed travelled to Ghana to seal the agreement with the Dansoman-based club.
Bernard Arthur is now contracted to Azam FC for the next two years.
The former Ghana U-20 forward will work under former Aduana Stars coach Cioaba Aristica.
Bernard Arthur scored 11 goals during the just ended season – nine came in the Ghana Premier League with the other two in the MTN FA Cup.
He joins four other Ghanaian players – Enoch Atta Agyei, Daniel Amoah, Yakubu Mohammed and Razak Abalora on the books of Azam FC.
