Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies have reached an agreement over the transfer of midfielder Isaac Twum to Norway’s IK Start, Footy-Ghana.com can reveal.
IK Start are making a return to the Norwegian Tippeligaen just a season after their demotion to the OBOS-ligaen.
The youngster is expected to fly out of Ghana in the company of a club director Monday night.
Twum will have his mandatory medical before penning his signature to an already agreed two-year contract, Footy-Ghana.com further gathers.
The 19-year-old will, afterwards, return to Ghana before teaming up with his new side for pre-season early January.
Isaac Twum, who can be deployed in both defensive and attacking roles in midfield made 22 appearances in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League for Inter Allies. He scored twice and picked up three Man-of-the-Match awards.
After leading the Black Stars ‘B’ as captain to win the 2017 Wafu Cup of Nations, Twum was rewarded with a call-up to the Ghana senior national team for a World Cup qualifier against Uganda in October. He then made his senior debut in the subsequent international friendly against Saudi Arabia.
Isaac Twum was also named the Most Valuable Player at the Wafu Tournament.
