Back to the GHPL: Yatsuhashi named new Inter Allies gaffer

Ghana Premier League club Inter Allies have announced engaging the services of Japanese-American coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.

Yatsuhashi returns to the country after leaving Hearts in June 2016 where he enjoyed an explosive start to his first professional coaching job.

The 48-year-old is expected to lead the technical bench of the ‘Eleven is-to One’ boys. He is again tasked to take control of the youth system and decide which players to promote to the senior side.

A statement on the club’s website read;

As promised, the Management of Inter Allies FC have reached agreement with Kenichi Yatsuhasi to be the new Head Coach of the Club and its youth development side – Cedar Stars Academy, Ghana.

‪The new Coach will arrive in time for the Club’s pre-season ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

The President of Inter Allies FC Rabeh EL- Eter: “We are glad to have Kenichi as our Head Coach for the coming season.”

‪The Japanese trainer has huge knowledge of the terrain having coached in the Ghana Premier League with Hearts of Oak where he had a successful tenure with the Phobians.

‪He also worked with Nigerian Premier League side FC Ifeanyi Ubah in 2016 and Cambodian C-League club Tiger FC in 2017.
