VIDEO: Super-sub Gyan snatches injury-time draw for Kayserispor

Ghana skipper Asamoah Gyan came off the bench to score a stoppage-time equalizer to deny Fenerbahçe victory over Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday.

It was the first league goal for the striker who is gradually being integrated into the side after recovering from injury.

Kayserispor drew first blood but the hosts equalized before the break and scored two more goals in the second half.

Gyan’s side however fought back strongly with the Ghana international coming on as a substitute for Ryan Mendes in the 73rd minute.

Before his introduction, Kayserispor were helped back in the game courtesy a 68th minute own goal by Luis Neto.

Losing 3-2, Kayserispor earned a free-kick deep into injury time. And it was Gyan who popped up to head past Cameroonian goalkeeper Carlos Kameni and leveled the match. 3-3 it ended.

Kayserispor are now 4th on the log with 18 points.
