Ghana opponents Colombia arrive India for U-17 World Cup [+SQUAD LIST]

Colombia unveiled their final squad for the Under-17 World Cup on Tuesday and are already in India two weeks ahead of kickoff.

Los Cafeteros touched down the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi Thursday with the selected 21-man squad and an eight-member technical team led by Professor Orlando Restrepo.

Colombia, who are making their 6th U-17 World Cup outing, will have two weeks to acclimatize before opening the tournament with Ghana at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 6.

They have secured a test game against the youth team of Indian Premier League side Minerva Punjab at the Heritage College Academy on September 27.

Colombia will also face tournament hosts India on October 9 and then the USA three days later to complete the group stage.

Colombia, after their last World Cup berth in Nigeria 2009, secured a return for this edition after finishing third in the South American Under-17 Football Championship earlier this year.
