Black Stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah was forced off the pitch in the 57th minute after he sustained a muscle injury in Torino’s 0-1 away win against Benevento.
The marauding midfielder came on as a substitute in the 10th minute to replace the injured Nigerian Joel Obi. But he himself had to be substituted in the 57th minute by Daniele Baselli after suffering what appeared a muscle injury.
Acquah was returning to Serie A action after an impressive showing in Black Stars colors as Ghana thumped Congo Brazzaville 1-5 away in World Cup qualifying.

It is not clear how long he will be out.
