US-based midfielder, Kwadwo Poku on Tuesday trained for the first time with the Black Stars on home soil as they prepare to host Congo in a Russia 2018 World Cup qualifying game.
Ghana sit third with a point from two games in Group E of the African qualifiers.
As they welcome Congo for the first of two straight games within five days, Ghana, the three-time World Cup finalists will be on a quest of trying to catch up with North African giants Egypt who lead the group with six points.
The Pharaohs play guests to Uganda on Thursday and a slip in Kampala strengthens Ghana’s hopes.
