Ex-Ghana captain Stephen Leroy Appiah says he will dignify an invitation to be in the Black Stars as a technical member with an acceptance.
The 36-year-old who was part of the technical team under coach Kwasi Appiah during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil says he will give a nod should he be invited to join the new coach’s backroom staff.
“Why not?” he replied positively to accepting a role with the Black Stars.
“I paid my dues to my country well as a footballer.
“Just like anybody else, I would love to serve my nation; so when the opportunity presents itself, I will gladly take it,” Appiah said.
Appiah led the Black Stars as captain to qualify for the 2006 and 2010 World Cups in Germany and South Africa respectively.
