Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak marked their 105 years of existence on Friday.
The club, which was the third formed in the then Gold Coast on November 11, 1911 celebrated the day with a short ceremony at the club’s secretariat.
At the ceremony led by Managing Director Vincent Odotei Sowah, the 20-time Ghana Premier League winners also unveiled a kit sponsorship deal facilitated by Pacific Football Ghana Limited.
Unveiling the new home strip for the 2016/17 season, Mr. Odotei Sowah said “We are going back to the old Hearts of Oak jersey from the beginning of next season.
The design of the home shirt is of same semblance with the one used by the club in the 90s.
“The sponsorship is for three years,” the marketing expert announced.
“This is part of building the brand. It is a quality fabric and the fabric will be the first of its kind in this country,” the MD for the Phobians added.
