Ghana’s Afful and Ofori in Tanzania to seal Azam FC moves

Two Ghanaian players, Bernard Ofori and Samuel Afful are set to complete separate moves to Tanzanian giants, Azam FC.

The players, both forwards, separately travelled to the East African country to finalize their deals.

Bernard Ofori, who played for last season’s CAF Confederation campaigners Medeama SC, left Ghana on Monday to complete the switch, same as Afful who has been with Hasaacas for over a decade with the relegated club.

Afful scored a combined 27 goals in the top flight with Hasaacas in the last three seasons, with six of the goals in the recent one.

Ofori joined Medeama from New Edubiase United prior to the start of the 2015/16 season will be hoping to complete the move as he seeks to continue his career abroad.

Should the deal go through, the duo will be joining fellow Ghanaians Enoch Atta Agyei and Daniel Amoah at Azam FC.
