Police Ladies win Sanford Women’s FA Cup

Police Ladies are winners of the maiden edition of the Sanford Women’s FA Cup competition.

The Accra-based club managed to beat Fabulous Ladies 2-1 in the finals at the Cape Coast Stadium on Saturday.

A brace from Faiza Ibrahim of the Black Queens team did all the damage to the ladies from Kumasi.

Substitute Sandra Boakye got a goal back for Fabulous Ladies but it was obviously not enough to overturn the tide.

Police Ladies walk away with the GHC 10,000 prize money and the trophy while Fabulous ladies were awarded GHC 5,000.
