Ghana international Christian Atsu has joined Newcastle on a season long loan, with an option to buy next summer.
The 24-year-old is now entering his fifth consecutive loan since joining English Premier League giants Chelsea for £3.5 million from Porto in 2013.
However, this loan move could see his Chelsea career end as Newcastle will have an option to buy the winger at the end of the loan, according to Sky Sports.
Atsu has made 42 appearances for his national side, but despite his international experience he is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Blues.
Christian Atsu will join his new teammates after the international break. He is part of the Black Stars squad set to host Rwanda in Accra in the final Afcon 2017 qualifying match on Saturday.
