Zacharias targets FA Cup with Bechem

Bechem United coach Manuel Zacharias has set his sights on lifting the 2016 MTN FA Cup.

Bechem play Wa Rockets in the semi-final of the competition on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, same venue where they dispatched Asante Kotoko on penalties in the previous round.

Zacharias expressed optimism when he spoke to pressmen at the pre-match conference on Friday.

“For this FA Cup, it’s the first time for this club; it’s historic and I’ve seen in [the] people that they want [it] and I want it too,” the Portuguese said.

“God is with us and my players and I am doing everything we need to do. I will ask [the supporters] to come in their numbers to support us, and I must say they must believe me because I will do my best  to win this FA Cup.

“I believe in my work and I believe in my players. I want just one thing for my players: high concentration. If they play with high concentration, I [will] win and I have no problem.

Okwahu United, winners in 1986, take on Liberty Professionals at the same venue same day.
