The Accra Hearts of Oak Strategic Management Committee has directed head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi to stay off the team for this weekend’s Ghana Premier League game away to AshantiGold.
The decision comes a day after the Japanese-American trainer put up what club insiders have described to footy-GHANA,com as the height of his countless acts of disrespect towards the team’s management.
Goalkeepers’ coach Nasamu Yakubu and assistant Yaw Preko have been tasked to lead the Hearts team for Sunday’s match-day 9 game against champions AshantiGold at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
The last straw
Yatsuhashi is alleged to have flared up at a management/technical meeting Thursday where they were to review their last league game against WAFA.
According to club sources, the coach has consistently shown gross disregard for such post match technical and Management meetings thereby boycotting a number of them previously because he asserts individuals who constitute the team have no technical expertise to question him over his tactics.
Coach Kenichi is alleged to have thrown in salvos at the meeting Thursday describing the rationale behind the gathering at the club’s secretariat as “stupid and useless”. He is also alleged to have slammed the door after throwing his tantrums.
Termination – Hackman to Hackman communication
Footy-GHANA.com is reliably informed that the beleaguered Kenichi Yatsuhashi probably supervised his last game as coach of the club against WAFA SC last Wednesday due to his latest conduct.
A letter informing the coach, who earns $2,000 as salary, of the termination of his appointment has already been prepared by the Administrative Manager of Hearts of Oak, Hackman Aidoo. Footy-GHANA.com is informed that the letter is on the verge of being communicated to one Francis Gorman Hackman, CEO of the Ultimate Goal Management Football Consult who represents Kenichi as agent.
