2016 NWL: Ampem Darkoa reach seventh heaven in opening day goal-fest

The 2016 National Women’s League this weekend kicked off with a goal-fest on match day one.

A number of 16 teams took part in the Northern and Southern Zones recording a total of 24 goals on the first day across all league centres.

Black Queens’ Priscilla Adobea led her side Ampem Darkoa ladies to win 7-1 against Subayo Ladies at the Techiman Ameyaw Park.

Defending Champions, Hasaacas ladies started their title defence with a 4-0 advantage over Lady Strikers on Saturday.
