Starlets thump Namibia U-17 in invitational tournament

Ghana’s Under-17s, the Black Starlets, annihilated their Namibian counterparts 8-0 in a four-team tournament in Windhoek on Wednesday.

Head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin named an 18-man squad for the tournament and the team left for Namibia on Sunday morning.

Striker David Cudjoe scored four goals with team captain Abdul-Halik Hudu also getting on the score sheet.

Eric Ayiah bagged a brace while Najeeb Yakubu also got a goal in the game making it 8 against the Namibians.

Ghana will be playing European giants Germany in the next game before taking on Namibia U-20 in the last game of the tournament.
