Former Black Satellites striker Kwame Amponsah Karikari has joined Norwegian club FK Haugesund on a one-and-half year contract.
The former Inter Allies player who initially failed to land a deal after training with the side in January has now finalised his move following the club’s inability secure the services of a striker.
The player himself suffered a blow earlier this week as he couldn’t get registered by Slovakian giants MSK Zilina due to Administrative reasons as their transfer window closed last Sunday.
The 24-year-old penned the deal after successfully completing a medical and personal terms. He joins fellow Ghanaian Derek Mensah at Haugesund,
Karikari has already enjoyed stints with AIK Solna where he made 18 appearances and scored a couple of goals in the 2012 UEFA Europa League.
