Hearts captain urges club to focus on Dwarfs game

Hearts of Oak defender, Robin Gnagne has called on the club to turn attention to their match day three game against wounded Ebusua Dwarfs this coming Sunday.

The Phobians defeated Tarkwa-based side Medeama by two goals to nil while Dwarfs suffered a second straight loss to New Edubiase on match day two.

There have been reported wrangling in the club with Coach J.E Sarpong sighting sabotage and threatened to resign, if the playing body does not rise up to the task in their game against Hearts.

Sharing his thoughts on their impressive win last Sunday, the club skipper pointed out that, they were highly motivated and determined for the game which resulted in a victory but have to focus on the Dwarfs game.

“The boys were all determined and the motivation too was there. Even in camp, you could tell we were going to win the match. We went into the game and we got the three point. The win is historic for us, but we want to look forward to our match with Ebusua Dwarfs,” he told the club’s website.

Gnagne is also calling for continuous support from travelling fans ahead of the match against the Cape-Coast giants.

“We want the fans to come to our game in their numbers especially this coming Sunday.

“We can see that our fans are very happy about the victory [over Medeama] and we are also happy to see them in their numbers; we want them to come the same way in their numbers against Ebusua Dwarfs.”
