James Akaminko completes two-year Medeama move

Medeama SC have announced the signing of former Wa All Stars player James Akaminko.

The defensive midfielder joins the Mauves and Yellow on a two-year deal after failing to impress on trials with Danish side Esbjerg a couple of months ago.

James, the junior brother of Ghana international Jerry Akaminko, is expected to bolster the squad ahead of the side’s busy schedule this season.

The ex-Tema Youth man becomes the club’s last signing following the capture of New Edubiase striker Bernard Ofori.

The 19-year-old has been duly registered for the domestic top-flight as well as the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup.
