Inter Allies captain Kwame Osei says his side is ready to battle former champions Aduana Stars in their 2015/16 Ghana Premier League opener.
The ‘Eleven Is To One’ welcome the Dormaa club to the Tema Sports Stadium in one of seven games to be played across league centres on Sunday.
Osei who recorded the most clean sheets (13) in last season’s Ghana Premier League has assured the club supporters that the ‘Eleven Is To One’ are very well prepared and ready to go head-to-head against Aduana.
“I’m not the only one ready but everyone in the team wants to go out hard and win on Sunday. We know it will not be easy but we are very much prepared to fight till we get our maximum points,” he told the club’s website.
The fantastic shot-stopper featured 27 times for the club last season in which he conceded 18 goals (0.67 per game) believes Inter Allies has better record over Aduana in Tema and they are not ready to lose that record.
Since the ‘Eleven Is To One’ got promoted to the elite league, Aduana have never registered a win against Inter Allies in Tema (1-0 in 2013/14 season and 2-0 in 2014/15 season).
“As you know, we have never lost to them here, we show good signs against them always and I think we are ready for the first game.”
