An El Bulki goal in first half added time handed Libyan side Al Ittihad a 1-0 win over Medeama in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.
The Libyan’s playing at the Stade Municipal, an adopted home in Sfax-Tunisia benefited from a penalty decision after defender Daniel Amoah was penalized for a tackle on Bush Naf in the penalty area.
Midfielder Bulki made no mistake as he stretched goalkeeper Muntari Tagoe with a low grounder which found the back of the net.
The Mauve and Yellows however held on their own to avoid conceding further and are returning home with a one-goal deficit.
Medeama hosts the round of 32 return encounter at the Essipong Stadium on March 27.
