The Ghana national Under-20 male team have booked an international friendly date with England for March.
The Black Satellites are just about kicking off preparations towards the 2017 Africa U-20 Nations Cup after having 30 players to camp last Monday.
Ghana who exited at the group stage of the 2015 Fifa U-20 World Cup are scheduled to travel and face their England counterparts in the friendly on March 27.
“It’s vitally important that the players get the right exposure to the different challenges of international football, and having games against different opponents from all continents, such as Ghana, is really important for their development,” head of Development Team Coaching for the Three Lions, Matt Crocker told the FA website.
The friendly has been confirmed for Doncaster Rovers’ Keepemoat Stadium. It will be the first game for Keith Downing who has now been confirmed permanent coach of the England Under-20s.
