Ghanaian champions, AshantiGold have departed Accra for Sunday night’s CAF Champions League preliminary round return clash against MO Bejaia in Algeria.
Coach of the side, Bashir Hayofrd has kept faith with the 18-man squad that won 1-0 at home a fortnight ago for the 17:00 GMT kick-off clash at the Stade de l’Unité Maghrébine in Béjaïa.
The Miners left Accra Thursday night in a 30-man contingent with Chairman of the Ashanti Regional Football Association and Ghana FA Executive Committee member, Osei Tutu Agyemang as the leader of delegation.
Coach Bashir Hayford is joined by six other members of the technical team with four management member completing the AshGold travelling party.
The team is expected to touch base in Bejaia Friday noon after a brief stopover in Istanbul.
