Head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana, Avram Grant has submitted his final 23-man squad for the 2107 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.
The 61-year-old initially called 26 for an 11-day training camp in the UAE from which three players have now been dropped from the squad.
Two strikers – Raphael Dwamena and Majeed Waris and former Tema Youth defender Joseph Larweh Attamah were the three casualties axed by the Israeli trainer.
Goalkeeper Fatau Dauda, who did not make the 26-provisional list was handed a late call-up to replace Adam Kwarasey who pulled out of the squad.
The team will round-up preparations with two friendly matches and a date which will soon be communicated to the public, before arriving in Gabon on the 13th of January.
The Black Stars will play their first group match against Uganda on January 17, followed by Mali on the 21st and wrap-up with Egypt on the 25th.
