2020 U-20 WWCQ: Black Princesses to start camping with 30 players Feb. 2

Ghana, will from Sunday, February 2, begin preparations towards their campaign in the qualifiers to the Panama 2020 Fifa Under-20 Women’s World Cup with 30 players.

Having received a bye from the preliminary round, the Black Princesses are likely to face Guinea-Bissau who travelled to hammer Mauritania 6-0 in Nouakchott in a first-leg tie a fortnight ago. The second leg is scheduled for Friday,  January 31.

Ghana will have about 7 weeks to camp for their first-round assignment in the African qualifiers.

Coach Yusif Basigi’s side will be on the road on the weekend of March 20-22 for the first leg before hosting the reverse the following weekend.

The African qualifiers to Panama 2020 will run through to the third round later in June after which two countries will emerge as the continent’s representatives at the Under-20 Fifa Women’s World Cup.

The Black Princesses will be using the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence facility in Prampram as camping base.
