Ghana defender Samuel Sarfo has joined Iranian side Saipa FC after leaving Liberty Professionals.
The centre-back completed his move alongside Cameroon striker Aloys Nong last week Monday, January 28.
Sarfo succeeded in a brief trial exercise before signing a contract until 2019.
The 27-year-old captained Liberty Professionals in the Ghana Premier League last season. He also earned his first international cap for Ghana in July last year.
Saipa FC was founded in 1988.
The Karaj-based side compete in the topflight and currently occupy 4th position in the ongoing 2017/18 edition of the 16-team Persian Gulf Pro League after 22 matches.
Saipa FC is coached by 49-year-old ex-Iran national team and Bayern Munich star Ali Daei.
