Ghana Under-20 women’s team coach, Yusif Basigi has named his final squad of 18 for this weekend’s trip to face Cameroon in the African qualifiers to the Fifa World Cup, France 2018.
The Black Princesses are guests to the Indomitable Junior Lionesses in the first leg of the final round of the qualifiers to the World Cup in Yaounde this Sunday, January 14.
Coach Basigi took 23 players to camp on December 10 where they engaged in a series of test games including an international friendly with the South Africa U-20 girls team.
Five players – Anabel Bansah (goalkeeper), Florence Annor (defender), Mary Entoah (midfielder), Vivian Adjei and Ernestina Ayisi (forwards) were dropped when the Princesses coach decided on his final 18 after Thursday’s training.

The Black Princesses will be hoping for a favourable result away to Cameroon on Sunday in order to make a fifth straight U-20 Women’s World Cup qualification easier in the second leg at Cape Coast on January 27.
Two countries would represent Africa at the tournament scheduled for August 7-26 2018 in France.
