#FootyTransfers: AFC Leopards snatch Isaac Oduro from Nkana FC

Kenyan giants AFC Leopards have snared free agent Ghana defender Isaac Oduro from the clutches of Nkana FC of Zambia.

The left-back had looked all set to join Nkana and actually flew into Zambia before Christmas to pursue final details of his move but the club reportedly were slow in their dealings.

According to sources, while waiting on Nkana, other Zambian clubs as well as AFC Leopards intensified efforts to hijack the deal with the Kenyans subsequently succeeding their quest.

Oduro, last Friday, traveled to Nairobi to negotiate terms with AFC Leopards. He finally signed a two-year contract on Tuesday – his 25th birthday.

He last featured for Accra Hearts of Oak. His contract was terminated while nursing a career-threatening injury he had suffered in an FA Cup match in April 2016.

Isaac Oduro is a dead ball specialist.
