Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side, Eleven Wonders are asking for financial help and other donations from the people of Techiman.
Eleven Wonders finished as winners of Zone 1 of the 2017 National Division One League, a feat which secured them a place in next season’s Ghana Premier League.
But to survive relegation, the club bankrolled by cashew mogul, Nana Ameyaw, knows that the support from the community will be very key if they are to become a constant fixture at the country’s top-flight competition.
The ceremony will take place on Sunday at the Techiman Community Center.
This is a clever strategy to win the heart of of the local folks to throw their full support behind the team even if the club does not generate significant resources from Sunday’s exercise.
For the club, it is also way of imbuing a sense of ownership of the club in the people of the area.
