Accra Hearts of Oak have formed a six-man committee to take charge of player recruitment for the upcoming season.
Footy-Ghana.com can confirm that Board member Vincent Sowah Odotei, who recently took charge of player negotiations has been excused due to his busy schedule as a deputy Minister of State. The football administrator cum politician is the Member of Parliament for La Dade Kotopon constituency and also works at the Communications Ministry.
According to our reliable sources, the recruitment team was formed during an emergency board meeting on Friday, December 1.
Footy-Ghana can reveal that the Committee includes three board members – Frank Nelson, Alhaji Akambi and Thomas Esso.
Also in the six-man team is Accountant and Administrative Manager Hackman Aidoo while Team Manager Sabahn Quaye and Head coach Frank Nuttall have been roped in from the technical team.
Coach Frank Nuttall, who is yet to report for preseason preparations, has already submitted his list of transfer targets to the club.
